I posted here yesterday about unlocking a Lumia 640 XL from AT&T. Users here helped me to unlock the phone and they were wonderful about it. However, I now have a different problem with the phone: it does not allow access to my mobile network. My service provider is MetroPCS and, naturally, I have a MetroPCS SIM card. The phone recognizes that a SIM card has been inserted when I put it in, but I have no access to my network. I tried changing APN settings, soft resetting the phone, and hard resetting the phone. None of that worked. I then called MetroPCS and spoke with a customer service rep. in hopes that they would just switch my service to the new phone. The rep. told me that the Lumia 640 XL is incompatible with MetroPCS and that I would not be able to switch to that phone. Is that true or is there a way to use MetroPCS with a Lumia 640 XL? If there is a way to use MetroPCS with a Lumia 640 XL, then how would I go about doing it?

EDIT: I think I may have bought the wrong phone. My plan is a 4G LTE plan. Doing a bit more research reveals that I need the LTE version of the phone. Is that correct?
